Hello.
I am a evolutionary biologist based at the Queensland Museum Kurilpa in Brisbane, Australia, where I study the evolution of Australian animals. Especially lizards, snakes, and frogs. I am also an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow affiliated with The Australian National University in Canberra.
Science has taken me all over the globe. While I grew up in New York, I’ve lived in London and Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Canberra. Always keeping an eye out for beautiful places.
My research involves identifying and modelling the processes that have given Australia such unique animal diversity. This includes using DNA to build the tree-of-life and identifying species that are new-to-science.
Feel free to contact or connect with me at ANU, on Twitter, Google Scholar, GitHub, or by sending me cool photos of reptiles, bugs, or any other critters.
